Tortilje s kozicama i mangom/Tortillas with prawns and mango

Jesen je već opasno zakucala na vrata, a pogdjegdje širom kroz njih ušla i sve obavila u svoj tamnosmeđi plašt. Ipak, ljetne se uspomene često jave u živim slikama, jarkim i jasnim okusima, mirisima i bojama. A zapravo, ako imate zaleđenih kozica i nešto svježeg povrća, uvijek si možete priuštite ovako šarene sličice i zdrave smotuljke. Pa krenimo. Što se tiče samih tortilja, ja ih rijetko sama pravim, ovakav ručak treba biti brz i jednostavan, pa mi nije palo na pamet mijesiti tijesto za uistinu malu razliku. Osobito ljeti, sjetite se kako je toplo bilo.

Stoga, najprije, kupite paket tortilja 🙂

Moj obožavani Jamie i provođenje 24h (dobro, možda ne baš 24h, ali nisam bila ni daleko u vrijeme nezaposlenosti ;)) pred 24kitchen kanalom prilično su me inspirirali za ovakve zalogaje 😉

Ne izgleda li privlačno?

Mmmm, a okus Vam je…pa, kao da hrana pleše sambu u Vašim ustima. Sve je zaigrano, malo ljutkasto, malo slatkasto, kiselkasto i svježe, sve u isto vrijeme. Tekstura je također raznolika, mekane i nježne jadranske kozice s bogatom salatom, sve skupa obogaćeno dozrelim narančastim mangom i umotano u hrskavu tortilju…ma, izvrsno, kažem vam!

Dakle:

1 paket tortilja

1 mladi slatki kupus

1 velika mrkva

1 crvena paprika

1 krastavac

svežanj vlasca

svežanj korijandra

6-7 žlica čvrstog jogurta

3-4 žlice majoneze

sok pola limuna, žličica soli

harisa i đumbir (začin)

1 zreli mango

malo skute (po želji)

250gr kozica (kozice su bile jadranske i zbilja fine, ja ih strašno volim, pa je B. naručio 3 kile, na što mu je prijatelj rekao da mu nitko nikad toliko kozica nije naručio odjednom 🙂 )

Što se tiče samog recepta, nema tu puno mudrovanja. Na sitno nasjeckajte svo povrće i začinsko bilje. Za to sve pripremite veeeliku zdjelu. Ubacite unutra i začine i jogurt i majonezu. Ne zaboravite sol i limunov sok. Probajte, naravno, i prilagodite svojem ukusu. Mango očistite i narežite na kockice. Isto tako i skutu. Kozice oko 3-4 minute pecite na maslinovom ulju s tek malo češnjaka, soli i čilija. Polijte s malo limunova soka i slažite ove zaigrane tortilje.

Idealne za ljetni party, zamjena za roštilj ili jednostavnoo način da razmazite sebe i svoje bližnje. Poslužite uz sunce i pivo! 🙂

Tortillas with Prawns and Mango

Autumn had already dangerous knocked on tour doors and somewhere she already took the whole place over  – she entered and all was shadowed in her dark brown cloak. However, summer memories often occur in vivid images, bright and clear flavors, fragrances and colors. In fact, if you have frozen shrimp and some fresh vegetables, you can always treat yourself with this kind of colorful pictures and healthy snacks. So let’s start it. Regarding the tortilla ‘s  – As this supposed to be a quick and simple  lunch, it didn’t occur to me to make my own dough as it’s a really small difference. Especially in summer, remember that hot it was.
So, first, you buy some tortillas in the supermarket:)
These are the ones as the Jamie cheaters in his 15 and 30 minutes recipes:)
My beloved Jamie and  24h of watching (ok, maybe not 24h, but in the times of unemployment, it’s not far from that;)) of 24kitchen channel  inspired me for this kind of snacks;)

Mmmm, and the taste is like … well, as if the food is dancing samba in your mouth. Playful, a little hot, a little sweet, sour and fresh, all at the same time. Texture is also diverse, soft and gentle Adriatic prawns with a rich salad, all enriched with ripe orange mango and wrapped in a crispy tortilla … well, pretty good, I tell you!

So:

8  tortillas

1 sweet young cabbage

1 large carrot

1 red pepper

1 cucumber

bunch of chives

bunchof  coriander

6-7 tablespoon of yogurt

3-4 tablespoons mayonnaise

lemon juice, a teaspoon of salt

Harris and Ginger (as spices)

1 ripe mango

a little cottage cheese (optional)

250g prawns (the prawns were the Adriatic ones and really good, one od my favourite food, so B. ordered 3 kilos, his friend told him that no one ever ordered so much prawns at once :))

As for the recipe, there’s a lot of complicating. Finely chop all the vegetables and herbs. Prepere a big laaarge bowl. Slip inside with spices, yogurt and mayonnaise. Don’t forget the salt and lemon juice. Try it, of course, and adjust to your taste. Clean the mango and cut into cubes. To cottage cheese as well. heat the prawns for 3-4 minutes in olive oil with just a bit of garlic, a hint of salt and chili. Pour a little lemon juice and stuff these beautiful tortillas.

Ideal for a summer party, barbecue or a simple treat , an easy way to spoil yourself and your family. Serve with sun and beer! 🙂
