Eton Mess i Kaos na mojoj glavi

Ljuta sam kao ris. A tako nekako i izgledam. No, koja se od nas, drage moje dame, nije pronašla u situaciji da ode frizerki sva ushićena zbog novog super cool friza kojega je našla na pintaču tjednima se oduševljavajući fotkom Siene Miller s divnim neurednim bobom, a od frizerke se vratila ko pokisli mali bijedni ljuti miš?

Zapravo, nemam pojma kako je do toga došlo. Došla sam frizerki s fotografijama. Kako frizerka ima oči i obično se ne zapucava u vrata ni ništa slično, a i inače dobro šiša, zaključujem kako će biti u stanju promotriti fotografiju i napraviti mi nešto slično tome. Na pola šišanja, ja “hm, ali ja bih ipak nešto kraće”…teta frizerka”ma ne, ne, to će ti se dignut kad se osuši”…za 15 minuta, ja “ali ja bih da mi napraviš da mi ide prema iza kraće”…teta frizerka “ali kraće ti je prema iza, sad ćeš vidjet”…kosa je suha, nema veće promjene; ja “ali ja bih ipak kraće”…teta frizerka “ali bit će ti pretoplo, ovo ti je super, lako ću ti skratit ako hoćeš”…odjednom sam dobila i okruglasto feniranje i gigantske kovrče na ušima. Ulazi neki tip i pripravnica mu pere kosu. Teta frizerka “vidi kako joj je super”…”da” kaže tip “bar joj neće bit hladno na uši po ovom vremenu”

OMG! Kako se ovo dogodilo?! Dok šetam, kovče se malo spuštaju, pa nije tako strašno, ali i dalje nema veze sa Sienom Miller. Šaljem B.-u tužne poruke i naljepnice na Viber. Razmišljam o svim nedaćama 21.stoljeća. Šaljem B. lamentacije o nedaćama 21.stoljeća. Jadan B., on ih trpi više nego ja i bolje podnosi. Pišem fejs status o nedaćama 21.stoljeća. Jako sam ljuta, pa to moram učiniti neudgodivo, stojeći ispred Zare, dok me neki tip ne zaskoči s pretjereano entuzijastičnim “Dobar dan! Skupljamo…bla,bla…” Skoro sam infarkt dobila. Odlazim kupiti  vazu i posudu za novi citrusni šećer kojega želim raditi, a zatim razgovaram s mamom na telefon o nedaćama 21.stoljeća i kako nitko ne zna raditi svoj posao kako treba. Za to vrijeme ljutito tapkam kao patkica po vrelom asfaltu. Skuhana, napokon sjedam na sladoled od pistacija i tamne čokolade. B. stiže, daje mi pusu i kaže “Ali to nije ono što si mi pokazala”…vidi moju facu “ali lijepa si” 🙂

Dolazim doma i perem kosu. Otkrivam da sam umjesto kratkog rockish neurednog boba dobila lijepu okruglu bablju frizuru za babe. Okruglaste bablje babe.

U tako crnoj situaciji, treba razmišljati o lijepim stvarima! Treba mi neki lijepi, slatki, predivni recept za liječenje nadrkanitis neurosisa.

Nije loše, šta kažete?

Prije pisanja izlazim van da po ovoj vrućini  u 7 i pol ujutro našpricam pse i dam im vode. Ispraćam dragoga na posao koji kaže “ali, ljubavi, ti si meni uvijek lijepa”. Moj dragi savršeni B. “Ti i da imaš govno na glavi bila bi mi lijepa.” To malo popravlja situaciju, pa se nasmijem. Ajde dobro…međutim, silazim u vrt i otkrivam po putu kako je Delboy pojeo pola cijevi od klime koja sad visi negdje na sredini kuće. Mislim da neće stati na tome. Stavljam vodu i špricam pse koji pritom laju kao sumanuti budeći sve penzionere u krugu dva kilometra oko nas. Didi laje jer je sretna zbog vode, a Del laje na nju ni sam ne znajući zbog čega. Nije sretan što sam pošpricala i njegovu kraljevsku malu guzu da ne krepa od vrućine, pa demonstrativno sjeda pred ulaz terase i liže svoje manekensko krzno, pogledavajući me prijekorno.

Što se tiče Eton messa, smazali smo ga još prije par mjeseci  s neopisivom radošću. Inače nisam najsretnija s tom prejeranom slatkoćom puslica, međutim, u kombinaciji s blago kiselkastom i osvježavajućom notom jagoda, ispostavilo se da je to  čaroban desert. Osobito prigodan za pms i nadrkanitise kada vam treba nešto slatko, a ne morate biti osobito uredni, jer čim zaronite žlicom ili nožem u ovaj desert, pretvorit ce se u potpuni kaos. Savršeni, seksi kaos.

Kao takvoga ga možete i poslužiti, ali ja sam se odlučila najprije naizgled urednu varijantu. Rekonstrukcija kaosa.

Tako nekako sam se i odlučila za taj desert. Zapravo nije osobito zahtjevan, treba biti pažljiv s pusličastim korama, ali ostalo je zapravo vrlo jednostavno. A započelo je sve s mojim spominjenjem dragome da je su na veletržnici dani jagodica, pa idemo vidjeti malo postoji li nešto zanimljivo…Došli smo na tržnicu, a kako moj dragi  ničega ne može kupiti malo, završila sam s korpom od pet kila domaćih jagoda.

I šta sad?? Odlučila sam se za džem od jagoda, prednost je što ovako sami možete kontrolirati količinu šečera i arome. Ako vam se ne da praviti džem, jednostavno kupite neki koji volite i preskočite ovaj korak. Ja sam koristila daleko manje šećera od onoga što se inače preporučuje, vi to možete povećati. I to sam koristila svoj vanilin šećer. Njega pravite tako da u jednu staklenku sa šećerom stavljate sve potrošene štapiće vanilije i dobro protresete. Prvi puta pustite staklenku zatvorenu barem dva tjedna, a zatim samo dodajte štapiće vanilije kako ih budete koristili. Možete koristiti i obični šećer.

JAGODA VANILIJA DŽEM

cca 3,5 kile domaćih mirisnih jagoda

500-600 gr (vanilin) šećera

1, 5 dcl muškatnog vina (možete preskočiti)

stapka vanilije

2 zgnječena klinčića

dvije žličice aceta balsamica

Sterilizirajte staklenke koje želite koristiti za džem na način da ih u golemom loncu skuhate ili jednostavno prelijete prokuhalom vodom iz kuhala. Koristite hvataljku da izvadite staklenke i poklopce i osušite na čistoj krpi.

Jagode operite i očistite i stavite u veliki lonac, prekrijte šećerom i dodajte vino i vaniliju. Kuhajte oko 40 minuta ili dok tekućina ne ispari. Sami odredite gustoću, ja sam tek malo propasirala, ali sam ostavile i lijepe meke komade jagoda u džemu. U jedan dio sam dodala i aceto i klinčić, taj džem je jačih i dubljih aroma. Staklenki će Vam trebati oko 4 srednje veličine. Punite toplo. Staklenke i u pećnici možete sterilizirati. Dobro zatvorite i stavite u toplu ugašenu pećnicu (prethodno ugrijanu na 160) da se hlade do sutra, a zatim spremite u konobu. Otvorene držite u frižideru.

It is simple to make by putting in a jar with sugar all consumed vanilla sticks and shake well. VANILLA STRAWBERRY JAM

about 3.5 pound of domestic fragrant strawberries

500-600 g (vanilla) sugar

1, 5 dl muscatel wine (you can skip)

ETON MESS

To je zapravo tradicionalni britanski recept, kažu kako je nastao pogreškom slastičara, a poslužuje se tako da se beze kore ili puslice smrve na velikom ovalnom tanjuru, a to se sve poslužuje s džemom od jagoda i svježim voćem.

Ja sam se ipak odlučila napraviti dvije manje okrugle kore koje sam zajedno pekla na velikom plehu. naravno na papiru za pečenje i posula sjeckanim bademima i slagala u slojeve.

Kore:

4 bjelanjka

5 velikih žlica šećera u prahu

prstohvat soli

šaka sjeckanih badema

Umutite lijepe pjenaste bjelanjke s navedenim sastojcima u čvrsti gizdavi snijeg. Na papiru za pečenje možete napraviti dva kruga kao ja ili istresti jednostavnu koru u veliki pleh ako vam se to ne da i poslužit ćete klasični izmrvljeni eton mess. Na koru pospite nasjeckane bademe.

Stavite u prethodno zagrijanu pećnicu na 130. U ovom procesu zapravo ćete sušiti kore na navedenoj temperaturi, nešto više od sat vremena. rezultat bi trebao biti hrsavo izvana, a iznutra mekano, slatko i ljepljivo.

Prekriti krpom i ostaviti da se hladi.

Krema:

500 ml mlijeka

4 žumanjka

4 žlice šećera

korica limuna

1 prah puding vanilija

još malo mlijeka

200 ml slatkog vrhnja

I još:

džem od jagoda

svježe jagode

Mlijeko stavite na laganu vatru i čekajte da zavrije. Za to vrijeme pjenjačom umutite još malo mlijeka, puding prah, šećer i koricu limuna u većoj posudi. Dodajte dovoljno mlijeka, nekoliko žlica, samo da se lijepo poveže. Kada mlijeko prokuha, prebacite ga u posudu sa šećerom, promiješajte da se poveže, a zatim uspite nazad u lonac na vatri. brzo i neprestanu miješajte pjenjačom dok ne dubite lijepi puding. Prekrijte plastičnom folijom da se ne uhvati korica i ohladite. Proces se može ubrzati ako posudu s pudingom stavite u hladnu vodu kojoj možete dodati i led. slatko vrhnje umutite u šlag a zatim ga dodajte pudingu.


ETON MESS

This is actually a traditional British recipe, they say, made by a pastry chef mistake, and served as crushed meringues on a large oval platter,  with strawberry jam and fresh fruit.

I am, however, decided to make two small round crust that I baked together in a large baking pan. Of course on baking paper, sprinkled with chopped almonds and match the layers.

Kore:

4 egg whites

5 tablespoons powdered sugar

pinch of salt

a handful of chopped almonds

Whip the egg whites with a nice foamy listed ingredients in solid  snow making a meringe. On the baking paper you can make two rounds like me or shake a simple pcrust in a large baking sheet if you do not you want to serve a classic crushed Eton Mess. sprinkle with chopped almonds.

Place in a preheated oven to 130. In this process, you’ll actually dry thecrust at that temperature, a little over an hour. the result should be crunchy outside and inside soft, sweet and sticky.

Cover with a cloth and leave to cool.

Cream:

500 ml of milk

4 egg yolks

4 tablespoons sugar

lemon peel

1 vanilla pudding powder

a little milk

200 ml cream

And yet:

strawberry jam

fresh strawberries

Milk put on a low flame and wait to boil. During this time, whisk a little milk, custard powder, sugar and lemon zest in a large bowl. Add enough milk, a few tablespoons, just to connect. Slažite na koru prvo hrpice džema od jagode i nasjeckanih svježih jagoda, a zatim prelijte kremom od vanije i ponovite postupak. Ako se odlučite za klasičnu varijantu zapravo imate potpunu slobodu!

Predivan i zapravo jednostavan ljetni desert s puno okusa i aroma kojega svatko može pripremiti! Obavezno javite dojmove! 🙂

Ma, mislim da ta frizura ipak nije tako strašna! 😉
